Introduction

The Foundation for the Orchestra of Italian Switzerland (FOSI) and the Association of Friends of the Orchestra of Italian Switzerland (AOSI) process the personal data collected in the context of their interactions in accordance with legal provisions, in particular the Federal Act on Data Protection, art. 13 of the Swiss Federal Constitution, and art. 8 para. 2 letter d of the Constitution of the Republic and Canton of Ticino.

Personal data

Personal data means individual details about natural persons that allow conclusions to be drawn about the person, the economy, or real circumstances. This includes, for example, address data. Information that is not directly associated with identity is not included.

What data is collected and stored by FOSI and AOSI

Personal data is collected in the context of interaction with FOSI, or in the context of interactions with our partners, particularly in the context of ticketing activities. Data such as name, postal address, email address, phone number, and date of birth are collected. In the context of memberships with the Association of Friends of OSI (AOSI), additional data may be collected, particularly related to payment and the like. Other non-personal data is stored due to technical processes, for example, IP addresses. By using certain services such as prize games, discussion forums, or chat spaces, ordering goods or services, or contacting us directly, the user discloses other data that may in turn be collected and stored.

How are data transferred and stored?

The FOSI and AOSI work to ensure that every transmission or storage of data occurs in the safest way possible, so that they are not made accessible to third parties. The collected data may be stored in both electronic and paper format.

How are the data used?

FOSI and AOSI use the collected data to ensure and process the contract for the purchase of tickets and subscriptions and for the complete management of AOSI memberships. If FOSI has received your address or email address in relation to the purchase of a ticket or in relation to AOSI, it can also use this data for direct advertising of other OSI events. It is possible to request the exclusion of such use at any time and it can be addressed to osi@osi.swiss to FOSI, Via Canevascini 5, 6900 Lugano. When you subscribe to the newsletter, your email address will only be used for advertising purposes of FOSI or in relation to AOSI, until the moment of unsubscribing from the newsletter. It is possible to unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. The unsubscribe link is available at the end of each newsletter. Are the data passed to third parties?

The user's personal data will be kept strictly confidential and will not be sold or transferred to third parties, unless necessary for processing payment transactions or sending tickets. In this case, only the strictly necessary data is transferred; typically the name, surname, email address, and event-related data such as the chosen seat. Organizers are required to comply with data protection regulations within the scope of agreements.
